Africa: Asky To Start Cape Verde Service By March

Pan-African airline which is very dominant in West and Central Africa, Asky Airlines, say it is planning to start scheduled flights to the West Africa island nation  of Cape Verde.

Country Manager  for Asky Airlines, Worlanyo Afadzinu, at the just-ended  Ethiopian/Asky End of Year Dinner to celebrate the two airlines’ travel and media partners said: ” By the end of the first quarter this year, Praia (Capital of Cape Verde) will join our network.”

Cabo Verde’s capital and largest city, Praia, has the sprawling suburbs of any developing city. In the centre, standing on a large fortress-like plateau (hence the name Platô) and overlooking the ocean, is an attractive old quarter with enough to keep you happily occupied for a day.

The occasion, which was attended by about 150 travel consultants and media, was used to reward the Top 10 highest selling travel and tour partners of Ethiopian and Asky Airlines. (Source: AviationGhana)
