Aviance rolls out full service at Kumasi Airport | By Dominick Andoh. Aviance, the largest ground handling company by market share, has today, July 1, 2024, rolled out its full service at the newly- inaugurated Prempeh I International Airport, Kumasi.
The company, over the weekend, deployed its new state-of-the-art air conditioned buses to the Prempeh I International Airport, Kumasi to complement other ramp, cargo and passenger handling equipment already on-ground.
Mark Kamis, Managing Director of Aviance tells AviationGhana that “It’s really exciting for Aviance in general, this is our 30th year, so we are celebrating 30 years in Accra. Part of Aviance’s strategy is to expand and to diversify, so we are really excited that as of Monday, July 1, 2024 we will be the ground handler in Kumasi and Tamale serving Africa World Airlines (AWA).
We are really excited to be part of that with the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) and our airline partners.”

Two international airlines have applied to operate charter services and scheduled international flights to the newly-renovated Kumasi International Airport.
