Marrakech Air Show 2024 Opens on October 30 | Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the 7th edition of the Marrakech Air Show will highlight Morocco’s growing importance in the world aeronautics scene and bring together the sector’s leaders around major themes.

Organised jointly by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the National Defence Administration and MEDZ, a subsidiary of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion, this international event is intended to be both a first-rate showcase for the latest innovations in the sector and a meeting platform for professionals seeking business opportunities.

A meeting place for world-renowned leaders and experts In an exhibition area of 12,500m², MAS will welcome professionals and official delegations from all over the world.

The list of prestigious exhibitors includes some of the biggest names in the aerospace and defence industry, pioneers who continue to shape the future of the sector. These leaders include Airbus, China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation (CATIC), Embraer, Emirates
Defense Companies Council (EDCC), Heliconia, Lockheed Martin and Tata Advanced Systems.

The Marrakech Air Show 2024 is also a global crossroads of opportunities to establish strategic partnerships, explore new markets and conclude commercial agreements. To this end, participants will have access to a rich programme of B2B meetings designed to facilitate quality connections and partnerships. With representatives from across the aerospace ecosystem, MAS is a true networking hub.

This seventh edition of the event will welcome a number of high-level representatives, including Mr Wouter Van Wersch, Executive Vice-President of Airbus International, Mr Tom Gentil, President of Hexcel, Mr Stéphane Burton, CEO of the Orizio Group, Mr Laurent Bouyer, Vice-President of Global Operations at Pratt & Whitney, Dr Chaouki Kasmi, President of Technology and Innovation at EDGE,
and Thomas Corbel, CEO of the Le Piston Français Group.

With 21,000 jobs created in the aviation sector, aeronautics is one of the driving forces behind industrial employment in Morocco. The increase in the number of women in key positions in aeronautics reflects a desire for inclusiveness and equality in the industry.

In just a few years, Morocco has established itself as a major player in the aerospace industry in Africa, with export sales of 2.1 billion dollars. With double-digit annual growth and a local integration rate of 40%, the Kingdom has become one of the most
