Aviance is ready to handle maiden London-Kumasi flight – MD | The Managing Director of Aviance Ghana Limited, Mr Mark Kamis, says his outfit is ready to provide the same high-quality passenger and ground handling services it is renowned for in Accra at the recently inaugurated Prempeh I International Airport, Kumasi.

Speaking at Aviance Ghana’s 30th-anniversary media launch at the Adinkra Lounge, Terminal 2 of the Kotoka International Airport, Mr Kamis noted that Aviance is ready to handle the maiden London-Kumasi direct flight on Thursday, Dec 5, 2024.

“We currently in Kumasi and Tamale Airports as well.  We have obtained licenses for every airport in Ghana except the Takoradi Airport which is a military base. We have already engaged with several airlines. This week, Ethiopian Airlines is operating a flight from Kumasi to Gatwick (London), which we will be handling at Kumasi.

Additionally, we work with the domestic airline Africa World Airlines (AWA) and manage numerous private jets and military flights in Kumasi. Kumasi is a strategic part of our operations, and our presence there has continued to grow and strengthen,” Mr. Kamis said.
