Tragic Crash: No Survivors in Jet-Helicopter Collision – Prez Trump | In a devastating incident last night, an American Airlines regional jet collided midair with a US Army Black Hawk helicopter in the Washington, DC area, resulting in a confirmed total of 67 fatalities. This marks the deadliest aviation accident since 2001.

President Donald Trump addressed the media, stating that there were no survivors from the crash, which occurred as the regional jet was en route from Wichita, Kansas, carrying 64 individuals, while the helicopter had three soldiers on board. Following the collision, both aircraft plunged into the Potomac River, where recovery teams have since retrieved over 40 bodies.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is leading the investigation into the incident and has reported that the flight data and voice recorders, commonly referred to as black boxes, have been successfully recovered. A preliminary report is expected within the next 30 days. Experts familiar with the situation have noted that both pilots from the American Airlines flight and the military helicopter were experienced in navigating the region’s complex airspace. The head of the national air traffic controllers union emphasized that it is too early to determine the cause of the collision.
