Accra-Dubai flights fully operational – Emirates | Emirates daily flights between Accra, Ghana and Dubai, UAE are fully operational, despite conflict in neighboring Persian Gulf states.
The airline, which operates a Boeing 777 on the route, has operated its regular schedule flights to Accra’s Kotoka International Airport since the escalation in the conflict over the weekend.
The Dubai-based airline has, however, temporarily suspended all flights to Iran and Iraq. Emirates warned that passengers travelling to the two countries will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin until further notice.
“Iran (Tehran) and Iraq (Baghdad and Basra), until and including Monday 30 June 2025. We are operating as scheduled to all other destinations,” the airline said in a message shared on its website.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers. We continue to closely monitor developments. The safety of our passengers, employees and operations will always be our top priority,” the statement added.
