Ho Aviation Academy Takes shape

Ho Aviation Academy Takes shape | The Agbogbomefia of Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV, joined by the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, the MCE for Ho, Hon. Stephen Adom together with his chiefs, engineers, and partners from Sweden, undertook a final inspection of the Ho Aviation Academy site located within the Ho Airport enclave.

The visit formed part of the final review of preparations ahead of the academy’s official launch. The project, which will house a pilot training school, an aircraft maintenance facility, and other aviation-related units, is envisioned to become a center of excellence for aviation training and technical development in Ghana.

Togbe Afede commended the steady progress and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to initiatives that promote job creation and skill development, particularly for the youth of the Volta Region. The Regional Minister also lauded the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders and highlighted the project’s potential to significantly boost the region’s economic landscape.

The inspection team expressed confidence that the Ho Aviation Academy will soon become a beacon of innovation and opportunity in Ghana’s aviation sector.
