The Ghana Airports Company Limited’s new corporate headquarters under construction in Accra is expected to be completed in July 2027, contractors have confirmed following an inspection visit by the company’s Board of Directors to ongoing project sites.

The headquarters development forms part of a broader infrastructure modernisation programme aimed at strengthening institutional capacity and supporting long-term growth within Ghana’s aviation sector.

During the inspection, contractors from Amandi Holdings assured the Board that work is progressing according to schedule and that delivery timelines remain achievable.

The new office complex is expected to provide a modern administrative environment to support the operational and strategic functions of the airport operator, consolidating departments into a purpose-built facility aligned with international standards.

Speaking during the broader project tour, Managing Director Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare highlighted the importance of infrastructure renewal across both operational and administrative assets, noting that investments in facilities are essential to sustaining efficiency and improving service delivery across the aviation ecosystem.

The headquarters project complements other ongoing upgrades, including major runway rehabilitation works at Kotoka International Airport, as part of efforts to enhance safety, capacity and competitiveness.

Once completed, the new corporate headquarters is expected to strengthen organisational effectiveness and support Ghana’s ambition to position Accra as a leading aviation hub in West Africa through improved infrastructure, governance and operational coordination.
