Airlines avoid “dangerous” Middle East Airspace | Airlines are avoiding a significant part of the Middle East Airspace after Iran launched an aerial attack on Israel.

The areas of Middle-East Airspace include Iraq, Jordan, Israel, and Lebanon; large parts of Iranian airspace are closed to civilian airlines with airlines using Saudi airspace to connect Asia with Europe.

The affected airspace includes Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, and large parts of Iranian airspace. Most commercial aircraft are using Saudi Arabia and Egypt airspace to get to Europe.

According to various reports, 99 percent of all the drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles were successfully shot down by Israeli forces working closely with their US and other partners. The only casualty being a little girl who was seriously wounded.
