Brussels is committed to the Ghanaian market – Country Manager | By Joojo Maapa| Brussels Airlines says it is committed to delivering exceptional flying experience to the Ghanaian market now and in years to come.

Country Manager of Brussels, IIse Adriaen, told AviationGhana that: ” We are committed to the Ghana market. You have a beautiful airport here. It’s a big one. Accra is one of the most connected in the region. It is very friendly here, very competitive.”

She indicated that, as a sign of the airline’s commitment to the country, it is scaling up its operations by increasing its frequency to daily service (7x per week) to and from Accra starting in June 2025.

“In 2025, we added 11th aircraft to the long-haul fleet, so we have eight A330s. This year, the decision is to reinforce the network. So with this 11th aircraft, we will be increasing our capacity by 10% in Sub-Saharan Africa, which we call SSA, which is big. I think we have increased our capacity. We have 56 weekly flights from Brussels to Sub-Saharan Africa. For Ghana, this means that we can also increase. We already had 6 flights from Monday to Saturday, and now we’re going to have our Sunday flights. That’s from June. So now we have 7 flights a week. We will now be operating daily flights,” she told AviationGhana in Accra.
