A Ghana Air Force helicopter Z9, travelling from the capital, Accra, to Obuasi in the Ashanti Region, has crashed near Adanse.
The aircraft, which departed Accra at 9:12hrs and had three (3) crew and five (5) passengers on board, was reported to be off radar about 12:00hrs.
Footage obtained from the crash site by AviationGhana.com reveals no sign of survivors. Unverified reports indicate that Ghana’s Defence Minister is reported to be onboard the aircraft.
