McDan’s Private Jet Terminal Shut Down over $3million debt

McDan’s Private Jet Terminal Shut Down over $3million debt | The McDan Aviation Private Jet Terminal located at the Terminal 1 of the Kotoka International Airport has been shut down for non-payment of some US$3million debt to the airports operator, the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL). 

Management of GACL has confirmed to AviationGhana.Com that McDan has outstanding debts of over US$3million that covers: “Rent for a 2-year period together with outstanding debt on land acquired in 2015, plus royalties owed since 2022.”

McDan Aviation, acquired a Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) license from the Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL), with various financial commitments for the establishment and operation of a commercial private jet terminal using part of the Terminal 1 of the Kotoka International Airport.

The company officially inaugurated the facility in January 2022 and opened its doors for business with three private jets and helicopter services.
