New Ethiopian Airlines Country Manager assumes office | Ethiopian Airlines has officially appointed Binyam Abdu as the new Country Manager for its operations in Ghana. Mr Abdu takes over the role from Aniley Eshetu, who has successfully led the airline’s operations in Ghana and has now moved on to pursue new opportunities outside the Ethiopian Airlines Group.

Binyam Abdu brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to expanding Ethiopian Airlines’ brand presence in Ghana. His leadership is expected to focus on enhancing customer satisfaction while ensuring the airline operates profitably. “I look forward to working with our team to further develop our services and strengthen our commitment to providing a world-class travel experience for our passengers,” Mr Abdu stated.

Currently, Ethiopian Airlines operates an extensive schedule of 14 flights per week to and from Kotoka International Airport in Accra, offering a mix of morning, midday, and evening flights. This robust schedule is designed to provide passengers with flexible travel options throughout the week, catering to both business and leisure travellers.

The airline provides passengers from Accra with access to over 120 destinations across multiple continents, including Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. This expansive network facilitates seamless onward connections, making Ethiopian Airlines an attractive choice for travellers looking to explore various regions of the world.

In light of ongoing developments in the aviation industry, Mr Abdu’s focus will also include navigating challenges posed by market dynamics and ensuring that Ethiopian Airlines remains competitive in the Ghanaian market. The airline’s reputation for reliability, exceptional service, and comprehensive route options positions it favourably as it seeks to grow its customer base and enhance its market share in Ghana and beyond.

As Ethiopian Airlines continues to adapt and respond to the evolving travel landscape, Mr. Abdu’s appointment signals a strategic move towards strengthening the airline’s operations in West Africa and reinforcing its commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
