TAP Portugal engages Travel Trade Partners in Accra | Lisbon-based TAP Portugal has engaged its travel trade partners in Accra to strengthen its relationship with key market players and foster a win-win partnership.
The event, held at the Marriot Hotel in Accra, saw the presentation of TAP Portugal’s service offering to the trade partners by the District Manager for Ghana, Mr. Edwin Lawson. Questions regarding various challenges faced by travel consultants were also addressed.
TAP Portugal currently operates three flights per week to and from Accra’s Kotoka International Airport on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with a combination of Lisbon-Accra-Lisbon, Lisbon-Accra-Sao Tome, and Sao Tome-Accra-Lisbon.
It currently operates the Airbus A321-200 LR Neo on the Accra route, marking a significant and higher product offering to the Ghanaian market. TAP Air Portugal is the flag carrier of Portugal, headquartered at Lisbon Airport which also serves as its hub. TAP – Transportes Aéreos Portugueses – has been a member of the Star Alliance since 2005 and operates on average 2,500 flights a week to 90 destinations in 34 countries worldwide
