ASKY Increases Flights to Nairobi Amid Rising Passenger Demand | By Dominick Andoh | Pan-African carrier ASKY Airlines has announced the introduction of a fourth weekly flight between Accra and Nairobi via Lomé, citing a surge in passenger demand driven by the airline’s growing reputation for on-time performance, reliability, and competitive fares.

Starting July 11, 2025, the new service will operate every Friday from Accra, with the return leg departing Nairobi on Saturday, expanding ASKY’s Nairobi-bound flights to four times weekly. The full weekly schedule will now include departures from Accra on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and returns from Nairobi on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

ASKY’s Nairobi service departs Accra at 11:00 GMT, arriving same day in Nairobi, maintaining a convenient daytime schedule for both business and leisure travellers.

The decision to add frequency comes in response to consistently high load factors on the Nairobi route, with passengers citing ASKY’s reliability and punctuality as key reasons for their preference. The airline has earned accolades in recent months for maintaining an impressive on-time performance record, placing it among the most dependable regional carriers in West and East Africa.

Additionally, ASKY continues to attract travellers with its affordable fare structure, offering cost-effective options without compromising on service quality or connectivity.

“With growing economic, tourism, and diplomatic ties between West and East Africa, demand for efficient air connectivity has never been higher,” Mr. Worlanyo Afadzinu, the Ghana Country Manager of  ASKY told AviationGhana.

“The added frequency to Nairobi ensures more flexibility and convenience for our passengers while reinforcing our commitment to reliable and affordable regional travel,” he added.

ASKY Airlines, headquartered in Lomé, operates an extensive intra-African network, serving over 25 destinations and playing a critical role in connecting African capitals and commercial hubs.
