The award, presented in the presence of Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, Egypt’s Minister of Civil Aviation, reinforces EGYPTAIR’s growing reputation as a leading provider of quality air travel services on the continent. The airline also earned the 68th spot globally in Skytrax’s 2025 ranking of the world’s Top 100 airlines.
This recognition, announced on the sidelines of the world-renowned aviation event, celebrates EGYPTAIR’s continued investment in enhancing passenger experience, operational reliability, and regional connectivity.
Captain Ahmed Adel, Chairman and CEO of EGYPTAIR Holding Company, described the accolade as a reflection of increasing customer satisfaction and the airline’s leadership role in African aviation. “This achievement reaffirms our commitment to delivering exceptional service and reinforces Egypt’s position as a hub for aviation excellence in the region,” he said.

Echoing this sentiment, Captain Mohamed Alyan, Chairman and CEO of EGYPTAIR Airlines, emphasized that the award is a global acknowledgment of the airline’s adherence to international service standards. He credited the dedication and professionalism of the airline’s staff for helping EGYPTAIR reach this milestone.
The Skytrax awards are widely regarded as a benchmark of excellence in the global airline industry, based on independent customer surveys and service evaluations across multiple categories including onboard service, cabin cleanliness, and staff hospitality.
The recognition comes at a time when African carriers are increasingly stepping into the spotlight for service innovation and customer-centric operations. EGYPTAIR’s success at the 55th Paris Air Show signals not only its individual achievement but also the growing global competitiveness of African aviation brands.
