Air Cote D’Ivoire now flies 10x per week from Accra to Dakar | Ivorian airline, Air Cote D’Ivoire (HF) has added three additional flight frequencies from Accra, Ghana to Dakar, Senegal in response to growing demand.
With the additional frequencies, Air Cote Divoire now flies 10x per week between the two cities via Abidjan. Passengers originating their fights from Accra to the Senegalese capital now have more flight options. See Schedule Below:
Air Cote D’Ivoire started servicing the Accra-Dakar route with a limited number of flights and steadily grew it to be a daily service. The additional frequencies reflect the growing economic, trade and cultural ties between Ghana and Senegal.
In 2022, Ghana exported $63.5 million worth of goods to Senegal. The main products included Palm Oil ($25.5 million), Petroleum Gas ($10.9 million), and Concentrated Milk ($6.65 million). Over the past 5 years, Ghana’s exports to Senegal have decreased at an annualized rate of 2.43%, from $71.8 million in 2017 to $63.5 million in 2022.
On the other hand, Senegal exported $34.1 million worth of goods to Ghana in 2022. The main products included Non-fillet Frozen Fish ($11.2 million), Planes, Helicopters, and/or Spacecraft ($9.46 million), and Beauty Products ($3.52 million). Over the past 5 years, Senegal’s exports to Ghana have increased at an annualized rate of 13.9%, from $17.8 million in 2017 to $34.1 million in 2022.
