Delta Air Lines is to deploy its Airbus A330-900neo on the Accra-New York JFK route effective October 27, 2024.
The development, which is in response to market demands for a more modern and comfortable plane, will add approximately 30 percent more capacity on the route.
The brand new A330-900neo aircraft will add nearly 1,000 more seat each week between Ghana and the US. It offers four distinctive experiences -Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin.
The new equipment will also add additional 70 percent cargo capacity on the route, in a boost for Ghana-US trade relations. Ghana and the United States have a long-standing trade relations. In 2022,

Matteo Curcio, Delta’s Senior Vice President for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India, speaking to journalists at a roundtable in Accra announced the deployment of the new plane on the route. “Delta has worked to deliver an enhanced travel experience in Ghana.
