Emirates Asia Pass Opens Affordable Multi-City Travel for Ghanaian Tourists | By David Kwakutse |
Emirates has introduced a new product, the Emirates Asia Pass, designed to make exploring Southeast Asia easier, more flexible, and more affordable for travellers arriving from across the world, including Ghana.
The new travel solution allows passengers to book and manage up to 10 intra-Asia flights using a single ticket, eliminating the hassle of securing multiple bookings on different airlines.
The Emirates Asia Pass covers travel across Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore, and Laos, giving passengers the freedom to build personalised itineraries and revisit destinations as desired. The initiative is set to appeal especially to Ghanaians who transit Dubai to Southeast Asia for tourism, business, education, and religious trips.
Travellers can begin planning their journeys immediately, with the pass available to those booking Emirates flights into any of the seven participating countries, either directly through Emirates or via authorised travel agents.
Emirates says the new product simplifies regional mobility by allowing customers to manage all onward flights on one platform, offering both convenience and cost savings.
The new offering opens up travel between major tourism hotspots, including connections between Thailand and Vietnam, and Thailand and Cambodia, operated directly by Emirates. Additional regional connections are provided through partnerships with Bangkok Airways and Batik Air Malaysia, expanding access to popular gateways and niche destinations.
From the serene beaches of Koh Samui, the bustling markets of Bangkok, and the cultural depth of Bali, to the modern cityscapes of Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, the Emirates Asia Pass gives travellers the ability to explore Southeast Asia their way. Customers can plan anything from a short two-city trip to an extensive multi-country tour covering up to ten flights.
The pass also offers flexibility after purchase. Passengers can change their itineraries for a nominal fee of USD 15 per adjustment, making it ideal for travellers seeking spontaneity without the administrative burden associated with multiple bookings.
The launch of the Emirates Asia Pass is expected to increase passenger traffic between Ghana, Dubai, and Southeast Asia, offering travellers more value and unlocking easier access to one of the world’s most diverse tourism regions.
