New UK Visa Application Centre Opens in Kumasi | VFS Global is to officially open a new UK Visa Premium Application Centre in Kumasi on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
The new Centre is to bring UK visa processing services closer to residents in the Ashanti Region and beyond and to effectively cater to the growing outbound travel to the UK.
The new centre located at Golden Bean Hotel, 3rd Floor, No: 19 Harper Road, Nhyiaeso, Adum, Kumasi, now offers applicants in the region the opportunity to submit their applications and enrol biometrics.
The centre is in addition to the state-of-the-art Visa Application Centre located at the Mezzanine Floor, Grand Oyeeman, South Liberation Road, Airport area, which has been operational since October 2024.
The UK remains a popular destination for travellers across Africa, with Ghana being amongst the top ten nationalities by volume for UK visit visas. *

Customers who submit their documents and enrol biometrics at the Premium Application Centre can now enjoy a number of complementary value-added services offered by VFS Global such as document upload assistance, notification services on the status of their applications and courier return of documents. Moreover, customers can book the Keep My Passport While Applying service in advance on our website which allows them to keep their passports once their application is submitted and biometrics have been enrolled. Customers will only need to re-submit their passports when a decision is reached.
