SAA Increases Flights to Brazil for the Festive Season | By Dominick Andoh | South African Airways (SAA) is set to increase its flight offerings to Brazil, adding two additional flights on the Johannesburg-São Paulo route for the upcoming festive season.
Beginning December 10, 2025, SAA will increase its service frequency on this route from two flights per week to four, with the new flights scheduled for Wednesdays and Sundays. This seasonal boost will continue until February 11, 2026, providing travellers with greater flexibility and convenience during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.

Whether travelling for family reunions, business, or cultural celebrations like the buildup to the Brazilian Carnival, SAA is committed to connecting Africa to the world with warm and authentic African hospitality.
Mr. Tebogo Tsimane, SAA’s Chief Commercial Officer, emphasised the airline’s commitment to improving its network in a recent press release: “South African Airways is increasing our flight offerings to provide more options and flexibility for our customers this festive season. We are dedicated to enhancing connectivity between Africa and the world and are striving to elevate our service even further.”
